- INM SecureNet Xtra is now supported on Mac OS 9.1+ (except Mac OS X), for authoring, projectors and Shockwave
- snxProxyServer now reports the following default proxy server settings in IE:
AutoConfig scripts, HTTP, secure HTTP, and Socks
- In previous versions, the snxPostNetText method would not work if the total number
of characters in the POST was greater than 2083 [fixed]
- There was a bug in snxPostNetText that occurred when the length of the parameter
name was greater than the length of the string value [fixed]
- URL-encoding is now compliant to w3.org standards
- snxProxyServer now correctly reports proxy server settings when "Use the same proxy
server for all protocols" is checked
- Due to a refresh problem that exists in Shockwave in Internet Explorer, on the Mac, SecureNet Xtra cannot be used in the synchronous mode (using a repeat loop). Therefore, the SecureNet Xtra Behaviors that rely on the synchronous mode (except for the scripts: snsDisplayError and snsNetError), cannot be used under these circumstances. All cross- platform Shockwave developers must be aware of this limitation. This limitation does not apply on Windows, and does not apply to projectors or in Director's authoring environment. Note that NetLingo only uses the asynchronous mode, so you should not have any problems converting projects from NetLingo to INM SecureNet Xtra
- Versions of the URL Access Manager library older than v2.4.1 may not support all proxy server authentication protocols
To ensure that your Shockwave movies auto-install the right version of this Xtra, copy the
following text and paste it into your "Xtrainfo.txt" file (located in the same folder as Director).
