This tutorial introduces you to INM SecureNet Xtra. Using the SecureNet Behavior library, you will create a credit card payment form that sends securxe, encrypted data to an ASP script on an HTTPS server. This sample is not designed for use with a Proxy server that requires authentication.
Note: The tutorial with behaviors cannot be used with Mac OS 9. The asynchronous files uses SecureNet Xtra Lingo methods with asynchronous mode of communications and is compatible with all platforms.
In this tutorial, you will use the SecureNet Behaviors to request data from a file on INM's server. The main objective is to connect to the Internet from a Director movie, using a proxy server.
The projector that comes with this tutorial can be used as a trouble-shooting tool for end-users who need to access the Internet using a proxy server with Username and Password authentication.
Note: Not compatible with Mac OS 10.1

The sample Director movie demonstrates how to check for the error code returned from a SecureNet Xtra operation, in asynchronous mode. If proxy server authentication is required, it displays a MUI dialog box, allowing the user to enter the appropriate username and password at runtime.
Note: This sample runs on Director 7 and later. Requires Windows, Mac OS 9.x or Mac OS X version 10.2 + |
