- INM PDF Xtra can now launch a specified version of Acrobat/Reader from an absolute path, or a specified version of Reader from a CD-ROM. This allows you to control the version of Acrobat/Reader that is used with your application, regardless of what is already installed on the end-user's computer
- PDF Xtra can now launch the English, French, German, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese versions of Acrobat Readers that are delivered on CD-ROM
- PDF Xtra applications can optionally display a progress indicator while downloading linked or updated PDF documents
- Up to 200% faster download of PDF documents
- On Mac, in full-screen mode, the projector now quits faster.
- On Windows, a password-protected document can now be opened with Acrobat Reader version 5.x
- On Windows, in Shockwave, when ANY was chosen in the PDF Xtra properties dialog, an error was returned [fixed]
- Printing. When passing a number of pages greater than the total number of pages of the document, the printing failed [fixed]
- When Acrobat or Acrobat Reader displayed the Auto-Update dialog box, PDF Xtra would appear to freeze the Director application while waiting for the dialog box to close [fixed]
- PDF_Error() and PDF_Status() occasionally did not return the correct error codes [fixed]
- In PDF Xtra v2.2, there was a speed issue in some cases when using PDF_Launch on Mac [fixed]
To ensure that your Shockwave movies auto-install the right version of this Xtra, copy the following text and paste it into your " Xtrainfo.txt" file ( for Director MX 2004, this file is within the Configuration folder; for previous versions it is located in the same folder as Director).
