    It’s Adobe Summit time of the year again!

    Members of the INM team are in Salt Lake City to attend the much anticipated sold out Adobe Summit event, taking place March 9-13, 2015. Adobe Summit is the must attend event for anyone using or thinking of using Adobe Marketing Cloud. Throughout the week, Adobe experts and other marketing leaders share best practices, hands-on training, insights, latest tools and trends, and more.

    If you are unable to make it to Salt Lake City, you can still be part of the excitement by catching the keynotes live on March 10 & 11th at 9-11 MDT. Some sessions are also available on demand. Register at: http://summit.adobe.com/na/sessions/summit-online/

    INM helps CARNA deliver rich, personalized online content and increase member engagement with AEM

    INM is excited to share a great client success story. We’ve been busy working with The College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA) to deploy Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) as part of a large-scale revamp of the organization’s web presence.   

    With more than 36,000 members, CARNA’s website is the organization’s single most important communication vehicle. The organization’s previous website was custom-built, and it had become outdated. It wasn’t mobile-compatible, and it was extremely challenging for the in-house team to update. With its web presence revamp, CARNA wanted to bring members closer to the organization by making it easier for them to quickly access necessary information and services, as well collaborate with other members via comments and discussions. In addition, CARNA wanted to accelerate content updates and allow all team members, regardless of technical ability, to keep the site up-to-date.  

    After defining its goals, CARNA chose the Aptify Association Management Software (AMS) to manage membership and license registration processes. Then, after a thorough evaluation of web content management systems, CARNA chose Adobe Marketing Cloud, including the AEM Sites, Assets, and Social Communities modules. Working with INM, CARNA integrated Aptify to provide a seamless member experience throughout the site. By using AEM, CARNA has significantly improved the efficiency of its team. Edits that previously took days are now completed in a matter of hours and the resulting information is now more tailored toward members’ interests and specialties.

    INM to attend local AEM user group meeting in Montreal

    Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) has a new touch-optimized UI for its author environment. Touch UI is designed to operate both on mobile and desktop devices to provide consistency in user experience to the author.

    INM will join members of the AEM community for a discussion around Working in Touch UI vs. Classic UI.

    When: Wednesday, February 4, 2015 from 5:45 PM – 7:15 PM
    Where: CloudOps Montreal - 420 rue Guy (south of Notre-Dame).
    *Refreshments will be served.

    The discussion will cover the following topics:

    • How to switch between the two user interfaces
    • The benefits of Touch UI
    • Location of components
    • Challenges in author education
    • Challenges in developing for the dual environment

    INM is proud to announce that it is a sponsor of the 34th edition of the JMSB MBA International Case Competition, which will be held from January 4 – 9, 2015 at the Queen Elizabeth Hotel. The John Molson MBA International Case Competition is the oldest, largest and most-respected international case competition in the world. This year's 2015 theme is all about global connections and sustainable future

    Each year, the best MBA students from 36 universities around the world attend the six-day competition.The competition format is a round-robin tournament consisting of five business cases. The cases are selected from among the top entries from the annual Case Writing Competition. One of these cases is a live case presentation by a major company about a real-life business challenge that they are currently facing. Following the round robin tournament, nine teams advance to the semi-finals for the opportunity to compete in the three-team finals. The winning team receives a cash prize of CAD 10,000.

    The competition is a not for-profit event organized by a team of four MBA students from the John Molson School of Business and its main purpose is to bridge the gap between corporate and academic worlds, which ultimately enriches both students and executives alike.
