    Valerie Demeule, User Experience Designer at INM is heading to Ottawa the weekend of November 8th to attend the 5th edition of UXCamp Ottawa. UXCamp Ottawa is a locally-grown, volunteer-driven event created for people who want to learn and share their expertise about user experience, and how our profession contributes to making things work better for everyone.

    Keynotes and speakers will cover topics such as user research, usability, information architecture, interaction design, service design and more related to the creation of engaging experiences.

    INM to attend local AEM user group meeting in Montreal

    On the eve of World Usability Day 2014, INM will be joining fellow group members for an informal discussion on “Optimizing the Author Experience for AEM”. So often the focus is around how to improve the user experience in a web revamp, but ensuring an optimal author experience is also very important for the success of adoption and implementation. Members will talk about AEM/CQ best practices for designing the author experience, and share tips, tricks and lessons-learned for setting up and maintaining the author environment for productivity.

    INM and Kalmbach deliver 20-year anniversary collection DVD of Bead&Button magazine

    INM recently completed another great project for Kalmbach Publishing, a leading specialty magazine publisher. “The First 20 Years of Bead&Button” is an anniversary collection that features all 118 issues and 14,000+ pages of the magazine, beautifully packaged onto a single DVD-ROM.

    Readers can search through the entire collection to find projects, designers, techniques and more. They can then pull up articles or full issues to read, and can even zoom in on images to see fine details of a specific image or project. Readers can even create bookmarks to save favorite articles or group bookmarks into folders for future reference. Customers who’ve purchased this collection so far have called it an “awesome resource” and “just what the collector is looking for”.

    INM helps launch a new website for people living with CML

    INM is proud to announce the launch of a new website for people living with Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia (CML).  INM worked with Lind Publishing to create the overall brand identity for CML-IQ, as well as design and build the website, which is based on the WordPress platform. The website features articles about the latest research and news about CML, tips for living with the disease, upcoming congresses and events, and practical advice to help in making treatment decisions. The website also showcases CML Radio, which offers integrated audio interviews with physicians, nurses and people living with CML.

    For this end-to-end project, INM helped Lind Publishing with the overall marketing and social media strategy, as well as the creation of the social media pages for the launch of the website. INM also designed a template for weekly mailers and maintains CML-IQ’s social media presence with weekly updates. Finally, INM worked with Lind on a sponsorship and advertising kit to help attract new sponsors and subscribers to CML-IQ.
